Terms of Service
Last updated 27 September 2026
The rules for using Hasol to connect Kenyan workers and employers. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Hasol ("Hasol", "we", "us") operates a platform that connects workers and employers in Kenya. We help employers post jobs and help workers discover and reach out about those jobs. Hasol is a connection service only — we are not an employer, a recruitment agency, or a party to any agreement you make with another user.
2. What Hasol does and does not do
Hasol introduces workers and employers to each other. Once you connect, everything that follows — interviews, hiring decisions, the actual work, wages, hours and conditions — is strictly between you and the other party.
- We do not handle, hold, process or guarantee wages or payment for any job.
- We do not supervise, manage or track work, and we do not offer online or remote task management.
- We do not employ workers or guarantee that any job, applicant, or employer is genuine, suitable, or available.
- We do not guarantee that you will find work or find a worker.
You are responsible for verifying the identity, legitimacy and suitability of anyone you connect with before entering into any arrangement.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in or hire within Kenya to use Hasol. By using the platform you confirm that the information you provide is true and that you have the authority to post jobs or apply on your own behalf.
4. Your account
You sign in with your phone number (verified by a one-time SMS code) and, optionally, your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone and account secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
5. Posting jobs and applying
Employers
- Job posts must be real, lawful, and accurate. No misleading titles, fake vacancies, or bait listings.
- You must not post jobs that are discriminatory, unsafe, illegal, or that involve fees charged to workers to be hired.
- Job posts have a limited lifetime. They warn before expiry, expire at the end of their term, and are removed after a further period. You can renew a listing while it is active.
Workers
- Apply only to jobs you are genuinely interested in and honestly qualified for.
- Information you share in your profile and applications must be truthful.
- Never pay anyone to be "guaranteed" a job. If an employer demands money to hire you, stop and report them.
6. Tokens, features and payments to Hasol
Some actions on Hasol — such as connecting with an employer, or featuring a job listing — use tokens or paid features that you buy through the platform. Any charges you pay to Hasol are for access to those platform features. They are not wages, deposits, or payments to any other user, and Hasol never sits between a worker and an employer's money.
Token purchases and paid features are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where a charge was clearly made in error. Prices and token costs may change; changes apply going forward, not retroactively.
7. Messaging and connections
When you connect, Hasol may share the other party's contact or application instructions with you and open a chat. To protect privacy, chats can disappear automatically (for example, after 24 hours). Save any details you need — such as a phone number or address — outside the app. We are not responsible for messages lost when a conversation expires.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, fraudulent, discriminatory, harassing, or unlawful content;
- Harvest other users' data, spam them, or contact them for purposes unrelated to the job;
- Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Attempt to bypass tokens, security, or access controls, or interfere with the platform's operation;
- Use Hasol for anything other than genuinely connecting workers and employers.
9. Content you provide
You keep ownership of the content you post (job descriptions, profile details, photos). You grant Hasol a licence to host, display and distribute that content on the platform so it can be shown to relevant users. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you upload, including photos.
10. Suspension and removal
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe breaks these terms, harms other users, or exposes Hasol to legal risk — where practical, with notice.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Hasol is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for the conduct of any user, the outcome of any connection, or any loss, dispute, injury, or unpaid wages arising from a job or arrangement made through the platform. Your dealings with other users are at your own risk.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Hasol after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
